Handwoven in Colombia from natural toquilla straw, the Ocra Toquilla Straw Hat brings modern refinement to an iconic silhouette. Its short, structured brim frames the face with clean lines, while the multi-strand beaded rope band, tied into a sculptural knot, adds depth, texture, and unmistakable artistry. Lightweight, breathable, and crafted in small batches by skilled artisans, it’s a quietly striking piece meant to elevate warm-weather looks with ease. Wearable art, shaped by heritage and designed for today.

At Sandy Bottom, we celebrate timeless craftsmanship and your hat is no exception. Each one is made with care to last for seasons under the sun.
Keep your hat dry. It’s made for sunshine, not showers. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally in a well-ventilated space with the top of the crown facing down.
For light stains, gently wipe with a damp cloth in lukewarm water and mild soap. For deeper marks, consult your local hatter.
If your brim loses shape, place a cotton cloth over it and iron with low heat until smooth.
Store in its dust bag or box, upside down or on a hat hanger. Never in direct sunlight or at the back of a car. This dries out the straw, which in turn can misshapen and crack it.
Remember, your Sandy Bottom Hat is a true work of art.
Treat it with care, and it will keep you shining for a lifetime.
