When Patricia found the very last of the original Perla fabric, we gave our most-loved beaded one piece a new silhouette: a triangle bikini top with the same soft watercolour and the same shimmer, made to be worn from the beach straight into golden hour.

Each cup is framed in delicate hand-done crochet and covered in glass beads, and the adjustable triangle shape lets you tailor the fit while the beadwork stays the focal point.

The Hands Behind It

Every Perla top is made in Cartagena, Colombia, by Patricia and her team of women artisans. Tiny glass beads are stitched one by one, and the crochet trim around each cup is finished by hand. What looks effortless on the beach is, in reality, hours of patient craftsmanship.

Why It's Priced This Way

Rare vintage fabric that no longer exists, hours of hand-beading and crochet, and skilled artisan finishing go into every top. This isn't the cost of mass production. It's the value of craftsmanship.

Only a small number of Perla bikinis were made, and the fabric is now gone. Once they sell out, there will be no restock.

To keep your Sandy Bottom piece looking its best:

• Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent after wear.
• Avoid rough surfaces that may snag or damage the fabric.
• Lay flat to dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry.
• Take care with sunscreen, oils and lotions, as they may stain or discolour delicate fabrics.
• Never bleach, iron or dry clean.

A little extra care will keep your swimwear beautiful wear after wear.
