Each Abigail Hat takes up to seven days to create, blending intricate weaving with hand-dyeing techniques passed down through generations of Colombian artisans. The sustainably sourced toquilla straw forms a crisp, airy silhouette, while the natural and terracotta tones offer a refined, resort-ready contrast. Featherlight, breathable, and impeccably finished, it’s a small-batch piece that elevates every outfit with a touch of true craftsmanship and modern ease.
Please note: because each piece is entirely handmade, subtle variations in colour, shape, and finish may occur. These nuances are not imperfections. They’re the signature of true artisanal craftsmanship, and what makes every hat uniquely yours.

At Sandy Bottom, we celebrate timeless craftsmanship and your hat is no exception. Each one is made with care to last for seasons under the sun.
Keep your hat dry. It’s made for sunshine, not showers. If it gets wet, let it dry naturally in a well-ventilated space with the top of the crown facing down.
For light stains, gently wipe with a damp cloth in lukewarm water and mild soap. For deeper marks, consult your local hatter.
If your brim loses shape, place a cotton cloth over it and iron with low heat until smooth.
Store in its dust bag or box, upside down or on a hat hanger. Never in direct sunlight or at the back of a car. This dries out the straw, which in turn can misshapen and crack it.
Remember, your Sandy Bottom Hat is a true work of art.
Treat it with care, and it will keep you shining for a lifetime.
