Wearable Art, Made by Hand
Aqua, gold, deep navy and sea green beads climb across the neckline and high-cut leg in intricate hand-beaded florals that catch the light with every step.
Our most intricate piece to date, each Aqua takes approximately 100 hours of handwork to complete. This is closer to wearable art than an ordinary swimsuit.
The Hands Behind It
Aqua is created by Patricia and her team of women artisans in Cartagena, Colombia. Beginning with a hand-drawn design, each flower, vine and bead is embroidered by hand, one stitch and one bead at a time.
No machines. No shortcuts. Just generations of skill and approximately 100 hours of patient handwork in every piece.
Why It's Priced This Way
Approximately 100 hours of skilled handwork, premium beading materials and fair wages for the women who create it are reflected in the price of Aqua.
This is the cost of craft, not the cost of a label.
Only 36 Aqua One Pieces were made. Once they're gone, this design will not be reproduced.
