Crafted from carefully sourced vintage textiles, Fae combines a rich ocean-blue base with vibrant botanical embroidery, delicate gold beadwork, and bold tiger-print ties that frame the silhouette with striking contrast. Every detail was chosen to celebrate colour, texture, and craftsmanship, creating a bikini that feels collected rather than created.
Finished in a timeless adjustable triangle silhouette, Fae allows the intricate handwork to remain the focal point while delivering an effortless, flattering fit.
The Hands Behind It
Every Fae Beaded Bikini Top is handcrafted by Patricia and her team of women artisans in Cartagena, Colombia.
Each top requires approximately 10 hours of meticulous hand-beading and embroidery, with every bead and embroidered detail applied entirely by hand. Working slowly and intentionally, Patricia and her team transform rare vintage textiles into extraordinary swimwear using techniques that simply cannot be replicated by machines.

Every Fae Bikini Top represents approximately 10 hours of skilled handwork by Patricia and her team, many of whom are mothers and heads of household. Every purchase helps support fair wages while preserving traditional craftsmanship that deserves to be celebrated.
Creating only 20 pieces means we never benefit from the massive production discounts available to larger brands. Instead, we invest in exceptional materials, rare vintage textiles, and the skilled artistry required to transform them into something truly unforgettable.

Once the vintage textiles were gone, the collection was complete. Every piece includes a Certificate of Originality and Authenticity signed by Patricia, marking it as one of the rarest creations in the Sandy Bottom collection. Fae will never be reproduced.

I grew up on the shores of St. Lucia, where the water is warm, the days are long, and the women are strong. That island spirit shaped me. It gave me an eye for beauty, a love for bold colour, and a deep respect for women who do it all with grace.
Sandy Bottom started with a simple idea: what if I could create something that honoured the women I grew up around and the woman I was becoming?
When my daughter left for university, I decided to show her something important: that reinvention doesn’t have an age limit. That it’s never too late to build something from scratch. That betting on yourself is always worth it.
But this brand isn’t just about me. It’s about women everywhere. The artisans from Colombia to Italy, Bali to Brazil who hand make every piece with skill, heart, and tradition.
