The Hands Behind It
Every Pam One Piece is made by skilled women artisans in Medellín, Colombia.
From carefully cutting each panel to constructing the signature braided rope back by hand, every piece passes through experienced hands before it reaches yours. It's a slower way of making swimwear, but it's the only way we know.
Rather than producing thousands of identical swimsuits, we create our collections in intentionally limited quantities, allowing every piece to feel more personal and every purchase a little more special.
Why It's Priced This Way
Pam isn't priced to compete with fast fashion.
It's priced to reflect premium Italian fabric, skilled craftsmanship, fair wages for the women who make it, and the small-batch production that defines every Sandy Bottom collection.
Creating fewer pieces means we never benefit from the massive production discounts available to larger brands. Instead, we invest in quality over quantity, producing swimwear that's made to be worn, remembered and reached for season after season.

Olive Pam is produced in intentionally limited quantities.
Like every Sandy Bottom collection, once it's gone, we move forward with new colours and new stories rather than reproducing the same collection indefinitely.

I grew up on the shores of St. Lucia, where the water is warm, the days are long, and the women are strong. That island spirit shaped me. It gave me an eye for beauty, a love for bold colour, and a deep respect for women who do it all with grace.
Sandy Bottom started with a simple idea: what if I could create something that honoured the women I grew up around and the woman I was becoming?
When my daughter left for university, I decided to show her something important: that reinvention doesn’t have an age limit. That it’s never too late to build something from scratch. That betting on yourself is always worth it.
But this brand isn’t just about me. It’s about women everywhere. The artisans from Colombia to Italy, Bali to Brazil who hand make every piece with skill, heart, and tradition. The women keeping generations of craftsmanship alive while shaping futures of their own.. And the customers who choose slow fashion over fast trends, and impact over impulse.
