The cut of this style is designed to provide a secure, stay-put strapless fit. As a result, it offers less stretch than some of our other swimsuits. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for the most comfortable fit.

Every Amelie One Piece is crafted by Juliana and her team in Medellín, Colombia, where exceptional fit and thoughtful design are at the heart of every collection.
Each swimsuit is cut, sewn, and hand-finished by skilled women artisans working in small production runs. From the first pattern to the final stitch, every detail is carefully considered to create a piece that feels as beautiful to wear as it is to look at.
Why It's Priced This Way
Every Amelie One Piece is cut, sewn, and hand-finished by skilled women artisans in Medellín, Colombia, many of them mothers and heads of household. Producing in small batches allows them the time to focus on exceptional craftsmanship while earning fair wages for their work.
Creating fewer pieces means we never benefit from the massive production discounts available to larger brands. Instead, we invest in premium Italian swimwear fabric, skilled craftsmanship, and quality over quantity. This approach creates swimwear that's made to be worn, remembered, and reached for season after season.
Limited Production
Amelie is produced in intentionally small batches and will not be restocked once it sells out.

I grew up on the shores of St. Lucia, where the water is warm, the days are long, and the women are strong. That island spirit shaped me. It gave me an eye for beauty, a love for bold colour, and a deep respect for women who do it all with grace.
Sandy Bottom started with a simple idea: what if I could create something that honoured the women I grew up around and the woman I was becoming?
When my daughter left for university, I decided to show her something important: that reinvention doesn’t have an age limit. That it’s never too late to build something from scratch. That betting on yourself is always worth it.
But this brand isn’t just about me. It’s about women everywhere. The artisans from Colombia to Italy, Bali to Brazil who hand make every piece with skill, heart, and tradition.
