Each bikini is cut, sewn, and hand-finished before the floral appliqués are carefully created and applied by skilled women artisans. Every flower requires up to 10 hours of meticulous hand-beading, with each bead individually placed to create remarkable texture, dimension, and movement. It's a slow, deliberate process that simply cannot be replicated by machines.

Every floral appliqué is created entirely by hand, requiring up to 10 hours of patient beadwork before it ever becomes part of the bikini. Each bead is individually applied, creating the depth, texture, and craftsmanship that give Fleur its unmistakable character.
Rather than simplifying the process for faster production, we choose to preserve it, supporting skilled women artisans whose expertise transforms an elegant bikini into something truly extraordinary.

The number of Fleur Bikini Tops we create is determined by the time it takes to craft every floral appliqué by hand.
Because each flower requires hours of meticulous beadwork, only a limited number can be produced without compromising the artistry behind the design. Once this collection sells out, Fleur will not be restocked or reproduced.

I grew up on the shores of St. Lucia, where the water is warm, the days are long, and the women are strong. That island spirit shaped me. It gave me an eye for beauty, a love for bold colour, and a deep respect for women who do it all with grace.
Sandy Bottom started with a simple idea: what if I could create something that honoured the women I grew up around and the woman I was becoming?
When my daughter left for university, I decided to show her something important: that reinvention doesn’t have an age limit. That it’s never too late to build something from scratch. That betting on yourself is always worth it.
But this brand isn’t just about me. It’s about women everywhere. The artisans from Colombia to Italy, Bali to Brazil who hand make every piece with skill, heart, and tradition.
