Thousands of hand-applied glass beads in vibrant fuchsia, coral, crimson, lavender and sunset orange catch the light with every movement, while delicate beaded fringe brings the piece to life. Its sculpted triangle silhouette balances playful glamour with extraordinary craftsmanship.

Every Marisol Bikini Top is hand-beaded by Patricia and her team of skilled women artisans in Cartagena, Colombia.
Each top takes approximately 50 hours to complete as thousands of delicate glass beads are individually stitched into place before the signature beaded fringe is added by hand. Every bead is carefully placed to create movement, texture and dimension that simply can't be replicated by machine.
No two pieces are ever exactly alike -- a reflection of the women whose artistry brings every Marisol to life.

Each bikini top combines premium materials with approximately 50 hours of meticulous hand beadwork, completed by Patricia and her team of skilled women artisans in Cartagena, Colombia.
Because we produce in intentionally small batches, we never benefit from the large production discounts available to mass-market brands. Instead, every piece reflects fair wages for the women who create it, exceptional craftsmanship, and the time required to complete thousands of hand-applied beads—one bead at a time.
This isn't the cost of mass production.

I grew up on the shores of St. Lucia, where the water is warm, the days are long, and the women are strong. That island spirit shaped me. It gave me an eye for beauty, a love for bold colour, and a deep respect for women who do it all with grace.
Sandy Bottom started with a simple idea: what if I could create something that honoured the women I grew up around and the woman I was becoming?
When my daughter left for university, I decided to show her something important: that reinvention doesn’t have an age limit. That it’s never too late to build something from scratch. That betting on yourself is always worth it.
But this brand isn’t just about me. It’s about women everywhere. The artisans from Colombia to Italy, Bali to Brazil who hand make every piece with skill, heart, and tradition. The women keeping generations of craftsmanship alive while shaping futures of their own.. And the customers who choose slow fashion over fast trends, and impact over impulse.
