The Perla One Piece is fully hand-beaded in Cartagena, Colombia by Patricia and her team of women artisans. Each piece takes approximately 30 hours to complete, with thousands of delicate glass beads stitched entirely by hand to create a soft, light-catching shimmer that glows beautifully in the sun. No two are ever exactly alike.
Designed with a sculpted high-leg silhouette, barely-there sides, and an open back, Perla is equal parts nostalgic and daring. The dreamy watercolour floral print layered beneath intricate beadwork creates a piece that feels less like swimwear and more like wearable art collected over time.

I grew up on the shores of St. Lucia, where the water is warm, the days are long, and the women are strong. That island spirit shaped me. It gave me an eye for beauty, a love for bold colour, and a deep respect for women who do it all with grace.
Sandy Bottom started with a simple idea: what if I could create something that honoured the women I grew up around and the woman I was becoming?
When my daughter left for university, I decided to show her something important: that reinvention doesn’t have an age limit. That it’s never too late to build something from scratch. That betting on yourself is always worth it.
