The Hands Behind It

Perla is handcrafted by Patricia and her team of women artisans in Cartagena, Colombia. Each swimsuit requires approximately 30 hours of meticulous hand-beading, with thousands of glass beads individually stitched into place to follow the floral print beneath.

The result is depth, texture and subtle variations that can only come from something made by hand.

Its price reflects the extraordinary amount of time, materials and skilled craftsmanship behind each piece. This isn't the cost of mass production. It's the value of craftsmanship.

Only 29 Perla One Pieces were made as part of our limited-edition New York Edit. Once they're gone, Perla will not be reproduced.

• Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent after wear.
• Avoid rough surfaces that may snag or damage the fabric.
• Lay flat to dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry.
• Take care with sunscreen, oils and lotions, as they may stain or discolour delicate fabrics.
• Never bleach, iron or dry clean.
